Profile of a Project Management Consultant: Ken Hanley

Ken Hanley is an experienced project management consultant. He has worked on projects in many countries and in many business sectors, both public and private. The following video interview with Ken, conducted in two parts on separate days, provides Ken’s views on a variety of project management topics. Often provocative, Ken questions some of the established project management thinking. His views are thought provoking and valuable.

Ken discusses how to win in project management, established project management methodologies, project management offices and why they fail and fast tracking projects.

In the second video Ken talks about big long term projects and the issues in managing them, measuring project progress, impossible projects and getting the project results adopted. He concludes with advice for University of Waterloo students.
